Looking forward to meet you! +info: info [at] babylonia [dot] de Babylonia is very happy to host Roni Geffen’s documentary movie „Divine Daycare“ (Israel, 2018, 58 min, diverse languages with English subtitles) for the World Refugee Day on Thursday, June 20th, 7:30 pm.
The movie follows a daycare center for the children of refugees in south Tel Aviv through the eyes of Lula, a captivating Eritrean girl and her teacher, Blessing. After a firebomb is thrown at the center, the landlord decides to kick them out of the apartment. The director finds out that the landlord is her uncle, and she is pulled into the complex reality of asylum seekers in Israel. Roni Geffen, the director of the film, will be present and we warmly invite you to a Q&A after the screening – in English, if you need a translation, please let Babylonia know before via mail: info(at)Babylonia(dot)de.
